- Transplanting
- A deposit of 50% of the total contract for services must be paid before the commencement of the project. The remaining balance is due the day the work is completed.
- It is the responsibility of the property owner to mark sprinkler pipe or any other underground structures other than utilities, or otherwise inform Willowcreek Tree Farms of their locations. We always do our best to avoid damaging pipes and other underground structures, but won’t be responsible for repairing any pipes or underground structures.
- We must have access to water in order to properly complete your project. If there is no access, the trees will not be covered under our one-year warranty.
- The transplanting process inevitably displaces some earth. Unless otherwise specified, we will use the displaced earth to build a berm around the transplanted tree in order to enhance water retention. We don’t remove any waste or earth material from the property unless prior arrangement is made to do so at additional cost.
- Holes of up to 5 feet deep are dug in order to plant large trees. Sometimes objects such as rocks and large boulders, old concrete slabs, etc. are unearthed and must be removed in order to plant trees. In such cases, we don’t dig up or remove these objects from the property as part of the scope of the transplanting job, though we may be able to do so as an additional service.
- Access approval implies that any surfaces Willowcreek needs to cross, work on, or dig in are acceptable to have a 13,000 lb maximum weight machine operating on them. Any damage to surfaces in areas approved for access is not eligible for free repair by Willowcreek Tree Farms.
