We all want a more beautiful yard than what we currently have but getting started is one of the most difficult parts of the beautification process. One of the best, and easiest, things to do is to add in some trees. Having a gorgeous lawn is highly desirable, but trees offer so much more than grass does. Depending on what you’re wanting trees for will determine the trees you should invest in. In a previous post we discussed what the best trees to plant in Utah are. It normally comes down to what the purpose of the trees are. Do you want shade? Are you wanting increased privacy? Is it super windy where you live and you need a wind break? Do you want to stand out and have a more unique look to your yard? Luckily for you we can answer the majority of these questions with one, or more, of our trees.

Pine Trees in Landscaping

We favor our pine trees heavily and do so based on research and experience. Because of Utah’s climate it’s difficult for many trees to grow here consistently. Pine trees have proven throughout the ages to be very resilient to Utah’s weather. Things like extreme wind, excess water, lack of water, lots of shade, not enough shade, don’t phase our trees. The species we provide grow quite large, usually between 60 and 100′ tall and 10-20′ wide. Once they’ve grown a bit you’re able to remove some of the lower boughs so balls and other playthings don’t get stuck in them. They provide wonderful shade and windbreaks for family picnics in your yard.
